So I’ve been gone from this hellsite for a fair while, only really using it to resize pictures (for some reason it automatically resizes pictures to the perfect size for the slinging.org forum, it’s weird), but I have returned to share great news! Then let’s not forget that this weekend was the fifth anniversary of The Battle of Lime Street. That was the fateful day when the proscribed nazi terror group National Action threatened to do a “White Man March” through Liverpool. “Only bullets can stop up!” they declared. But when basically the whole of Merseyside turned out to shut them down, they were stopped by some eggs and a container of milk and forced to hide in a lost luggage booth right after they got off the train, relying on the police to escort them out of town with their lives.
This weekend was also the 75th anniversary of V-J Day, which marks the surrender of Japan in WW2, the end of that war, and the defeat of the fascists.
So really Anon, it was a pretty decent weekend after all!
